Freshman Ginny Thrasher, a recent Olympic qualifier, and senior Garrett Spurgeon will represent the United States, while senior Meelis Kiisk will shoot for Estonia.
The second ISSF World Cup stage of the 2016 season, this week’s competition also will serve as a test event for the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics.
“Competing at any World Cup is a great experience, but this World Cup is a little more special given that it is the test event for the Rio Olympics,” WVU coach Jon Hammond said. “These shooters will be on the same range and the same setup as the Olympians.
