Three to Compete at Inaugural European Games

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Three from the West Virginia University rifle team will compete at the inaugural 2015 European Games, set to open today in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Recent graduate Ziva Dvorsak (Slovenia) and rising redshirt-senior Meelis Kiisk (Estonia), as well as coach Jon Hammond (Great Britain), will shoot for their home countries.

Dvorsak will compete in the women’s 10m air rifle on June 16, as well as the women’s 50m 3 positions on June 19. Kiisk will shoot in the men’s 10m air rifle on June 16, the men’s 50m rifle prone on June 18 and the men’s 50m rifle 3 positions on June 21.
