MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University sophomore Ginny Thrasher continued her win streak at the 2016 USA Shooting National Championships for Rifle/Pistol (USASNC), collecting four medals and three national titles in one of her final tune-ups for the 2016 Rio Summer Olympic Games.
The championships, which opened June 23, closed today at the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit (USAMU) in Fort Benning, Georgia.
Thrasher, a native of Springfield, Virginia, won the women’s 10m air rifle on June 24 with an 838.6 score. She shot 831.6 (414.7, 416.9) in the open relay and earned seven additional points in the final with a second place, 206.
