The West Virginia Mountaineers are bad and we all know it. This is a lost season and everyone acknowledges such. Still, the Mountaineers came out and looked like a TEAM. They were passing, making shots and playing some defense. With 11 minutes to go in the first half, West Virginia held a 19-7 advantage over the #1 team in the land, the Tennessee Volunteers. Then, the Volunteers woke up and went on a 24-2 run to finish the half. West Virginia, once up by 12 points, would go into halftime down 31-21.
The second half was no better.
