MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Ten West Virginia University student-athletes were honored by the Big 12 Conference as recipients of the 2016 Dr. Gerald Lage Academic Achievement Award, the league’s highest academic honor.
Carly Black (women’s soccer), Allie Diehl (track & field/cross country), Maggie Drazba (track & field/cross country), Peyton Hampson (track & field/cross country), Amanda Hill (women’s soccer), Brianna Kerekes (track & field/cross country), Corinne Kule (track & field/cross country), Katie Murto (swimming), Sydney Scott (track & field/cross country) and Hannah Shreve (track & field/cross country) were among the 74 Big 12 student-athletes honored in the award’s sixth year.
