In the only Big 12 game of the day, West Virginia (21-13, 8-4 Big 12) walked their way to a walkoff win over #3 TCU (28-7, 9-3 Big 12), 5-4, for the impressive series win.
The Mountaineers started out hot in the first inning as Jackson Cramer reached second on a Horned Frog error, bringing in Kyle Gray to give WVU the early 1-0 lead.
TCU’s Luken Baker evened the score in the second, when he came home off of a Connor Wanhanen double.
West Virginia didn’t respond until the bottom of the third, when both Cramer and Kyle Davis hit RBI doubles to left center field to give the Mountaineers the 3-1 advantage.
