MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — TCU led wire-to-wire and handed West Virginia their eleventh loss in fifteen games, 77-63 on senior night at the WVU Coliseum.
The Horned Frogs shot 52 percent from the floor in the opening half and kept a double digit lead throughout the entire second half. “Normally we are not terrible on defense. We were terrible tonight. We were slow and it started at shoot around,” said WVU head coach Mike Carey. “I told my assistants after shoot around that it is going to be a long game.”
