For Take Two this week, we’re in search of the most impressive individual performance during spring games around the Big 12.

Take 1: Jake Trotter -- West Virginia QB Will Grier

At the end of Saturday’s Gold-Blue spring game, coach Dana Holgorsen put former quarterback Geno Smith behind center in street clothes, and let him chuck a ball downfield to ex-wideout Shelton Gibson. The play, as it did many times during Smith’s career in Morgantown, ended in a touchdown.

Not since Smith have the Mountaineers enjoyed such a gunslinger behind center.
