The annual scrimmage will be held at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium and admission is free. Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to pick up the official 2016 schedule poster.
Following Friday’s intrasquad, WVU will play three exhibition matches before the regular season begins. The Mountaineers host rival Pitt in the Backyard Brawl on Tuesday, August 16 at 2:30 p.m. in conjunction with WVU Welcome Week.
After traveling to Loyola (Md.) on Aug. 20, West Virginia concludes its exhibition slate at home against in-state foe Charleston on Tuesday, August 23, at 7 p.m.
The regular season begins with a pair of neutral site contests against two top-15 opponents in Akron, Ohio.
