MORGANTOWN, W. Va.– Freshman Max Sear and the West Virginia University golf team are currently in the lead after one round of play at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate, hosted by N.C. State, at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Monday.
The Mountaineers shot a 289 for five over par to jump ahead of Campbell for the team lead after 18 holes. The Camels sit second at six over with a team score of 290. WVU was paired with Chattanooga and the host Wolfpack, who are tied for third with scores of 292 for eight over par.
