MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University rowing team returns to the water on Sunday, April 19, with a scrimmage against Duquesne on the Monongahela River, in Morgantown, West Virginia.
The boats will launch crews from the WVU boathouse in the Wharf District of Morgantown at 9:30 a.m. The Mountaineers will warm-up for the scrimmage rowing nearly 500 meters to the Star City section of the Mon River. The scrimmage starts approximately at 10:30 a.m., by Edith Barill Park in Star City, West Virginia.
Due to the informal nature of the scrimmage, both teams will compete in a number of different pieces throughout the morning.
