West Virginia graduate and former Big 12 pitcher of the year Harrison Musgrave was summoned to the Colorado Rockies from Triple-A Albuquerque on Monday.
A starter over three minor league seasons, Musgrave will fill a long reliever role with Colorado.
The 26-year-old left-hander frok Nutter Fort, W.Va., was 0-1 with a 3.38 ERA in three Triple-A starts this season.
“One of my outings was short because of a rain delay, and other other two went pretty well as far as efficiency and results,” Musgrave told The Denver Post. “Everything felt good, and I’m looking to carry that stuff over into a game here, whenever that is.
