Rifle Successful at Changwon World Cup

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Three members of the West Virginia University rifle team and coach Jon Hammond competed at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Changwon World Cup, April 10-16, in Changwon, Korea.

Senior Ziva Dvorsak, representing her home country Slovenia, finished 27th overall in the women’s 10m air rifle with 413.7. She also scored 569 (189 kneeling, 192 prone, 188 standing) in the women’s 50m rifle 3 positions.

Freshman Elizabeth Gratz finished first in the extra relay of the women’s 50m rifle 3 positions with a Minimum Qualifying Score (MQS) of 581 (195 kneeling, 196 prone, 190 standing).
