According to unconfirmed report by Matt Welch of DKPittsburghSports.com, former quarterback prodigy David Sills will end his relationship with West Virginia University and transfer. David Sills burned his redshirt last year against Baylor when head coach Dana Holgorsen inserted him into the lineup. His first collegiate catch was a 29 yard catch and run that preceded a Cody Clay touchdown. Sills also caught a 35 yard touchdown in the second half against Baylor.
Sills previously stated that his heart was still set on playing quarterback. With the addition of former Florida quarterback Will Grier, the Mountaineers will have four quarterbacks on the roster for 2017: Grier, Will Crest, Cody Saunders and Chris Chuganov.
