Rumors began appearing around the internet today that West Virginia Head Coach Dana Holgorsen expressed explicit interest in the Texas Tech head coaching vacancy.
According to reports from Lubbock (the home of Texas Tech), Holgorsen expressed interest but was denied an interview buy Texas Tech athletic director Kirby Hocutt.
David Collier, the sports director of Red Raider Nation and Don Williams, sportswriter for the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal,both confirmed reports out of Lubbock via Twitter.
