RADFORD, Va. – Zack Ridgely limited West Virginia to one unearned run over six innings and Radford banged out 13 hits in a 9-4 nonconference victory Wednesday afternoon.
Eight pitchers saw action for the reeling Mountaineers (24-19), who followed up Tuesday night’s loss to Marshall and have dropped seven of 10. The loss went to freshman right-hander Conner Dotson (0-4), who gave up one run on three hits in the opening two innings.
Patrick Marshall had a second-inning solo homer and two doubles among his four hits for Radford (30-14).
A two-run double by Brad Keen in the fifth extended Radford’s lead to 3-0.
