MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Penn State wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator Gerad Parker will be hired as West Virginia’s new offensive coordinator, Fox Sports’ national writer Bruce Feldman is reporting.
It’s not yet clear how Parker’s arrival will reshuffle Neal Brown’s coaching staff.
In 2019, running backs coach Chad Scott and offensive line coach Matt Moore served as co-offensive coordinators with Brown acting as the in-game playcaller.
Parker will technically be returning to the state in which he was born in 1981, though that’s due to the fact Huntington was the nearest major city to his native Louisa, Ky.
