MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Katrina Pardee led five players in double figures as No. 25 West Virginia downed NJIT 95-50 on Sunday in women’s basketball action.
Pardee led all players in scored a game-high 22 points, including four 3-pointers, while Tynice Martin added 18 points and nine rebounds for the Mountaineers (2-0).
Naomi Davenport registered her seventh career double-double, finishing with 15 points and13 boards.
Kari Niblack had 17 points and seven rebounds off the bench, while WVU freshman guard Madisen Smith notched six assists and six points to go along with five rebounds.
Ellyn Stoll scored 14 points for NJIT (0-3), who shot 34 percent from the field with 25 turnovers.
