MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University track and field team completed the second day of competition at the 2015 Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championship at the Cyclone Sports Complex in Ames, Iowa, earlier this evening.
The Mountaineers had competitors in the 1,500-meter run, 800-meter run and 100-meter hurdles on Saturday.
The day’s action was highlighted by freshman Millie Paladino’s performance in the 1,500-meter run. Paladino, a Morgantown, West Virginia, native, ran a career-best 4:21.35 in the event, qualifying for tomorrow’s final scheduled for 4:50 p.m., ET.
Junior Kelly Williams just missed out on qualifying, placing 10th in the prelims in 4:27.
