MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University swimming and diving team has sent nine representatives to compete at this week’s U.S. Open Swimming Championships at the Nassau County Aquatic Center in East Meadow, New York.
Competition for the event began Wednesday and continues through Sunday.
Of those representing the Mountaineers this week, five of them were named to the All-Big 12 First Team last season.
Three Mountaineers are set to compete in multiple events at the U.S. Open. Nate Carr qualified for a team-high five events, while Di Sibio and Harris are each in two events.
