Former West Virginia Mountaineer quarterback-turned-wide receiver David Sills has returned to Morgantown after leaving the program last spring and spending a season in the junior college ranks.
The 6’-3”, 200 lb. wide receiver from Elkton, Maryland originally signed with West Virginia back in 2015, and enrolled early, but couldn’t beat Skyler Howard for the starting job. Sills did see some playing time as a wide-out for the Mountaineers during the 2015 season, catching seven passes for 131 yards and two touchdowns, one of which was a game winning touchdown in the 2016 Motel 6 Cactus Bowl in Phoenix, Arizona.
