Globe Institute (NY) cornerback Mike Daniels has signed his National Letter of Intent to play for West Virginia University this morning. The 6'0", 220-pound defensive back committed to the Mountaineers on Tuesday morning, helping to fill a position of need on the depth chart.
The Miami, Florida native, originally out of South Dade High School, runs a 4.5 40-yard dash and should be able to contribute immediately, at least on special teams. Daniels has the size, speed and mental toughness to be able to hang with the best of the receivers in the Big 12 Conference.
