MORGANTOWN, W.Va – The West Virginia University women’s tennis recorded wins in a pair of doubles matches as well as a singles match on the second day of the William & Mary Tribe Invitational in Williamsburg, Virginia, on September 17.
“We saw positive things today in the morning doubles and singles play,” fourth-year coach Miha Lisac said. “We played fairly consistent in doubles, and that was a good step for us.”
WVU opened the day with a doubles match against in-state rival Marshall, where the Mountaineers won two of three matches against the Thundering Herd.
