Mountaineers Use 6-Run 4th Inning to Beat Hokies 8-6

Despite letting the Hokies score early, West Virginia overcame a slow start to beat the their rivals from Blacksburg 8-6. Virginia Tech threatened in the first inning, putting two men on base before Kyle Davis made a spectacular catch in left field, to keep the game scoreless.

What a catch!! Kyle Davis lays out in left, saving at least a run to end the inning and strand a pair.

The Hokies were able to put a run on the board in the second inning when Mac Caples doubled to start the inning before advancing to third on a sacrifice fly.
