MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (Oct. 12, 2016) – In its final nonconference match of the season, the West Virginia University volleyball team ended a three-match losing streak with a 3-0 sweep of Robert Morris on Wednesday evening at the Charles L. Sewall Center in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. The Mountaineers rolled to the victory in set scores of 25-22, 26-24 and 25-15.
West Virginia moves to 11-9 on the season (2-4 Big 12), finishing with a 9-5 mark in non-league matches. Robert Morris drops to 9-13 overall.
“It was good to be on the road again and get a win,” said WVU coach Reed Sunahara.
