The Mountaineers are competing in their fourth Big 12 Championship since joining the conference in 2012-13. Last year, the WVU men finished third, while the women finished fourth.
The Texas men are ranked No. 1 nationally, while the Longhorn women are ranked No. 4. The UT men have won the Big 12 title every year since 1997, while the Longhorn women own the last three Big 12 Championship.
