MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University cross country team is ranked No. 20 in the fourth United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) National Poll, released Tuesday.
“I am not certain as to where we might fall on the national stage at this point, but what I am at ease with is that we have watched ourselves progress,” said coach Sean Cleary.
The Mountaineers were ranked No. 5 in the Mid-Atlantic Regional ranking, released Monday.
In last week’s USTFCCCA national poll, WVU sat at No.13 and was ranked No. 3 in the region.
