Baylor 3rd baseman Davis Wendzel hit a sharp single up the middle that allowed shortstop Nick Loftin to scoot in from 2nd, narrowly beating a throw by Brandon White to win the game on a walkoff. Closer Sam Kessler (1-1) was charged with the loss after allowing the game-winning run.
