MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University golf coach Sean Covich announced Monday that Mark Goetz (Greensburg, Pennsylvania/The Kiski School) signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI) to join the Mountaineers for the 2017-18 season.
“Western Pennsylvania golf has a long, proud tradition of producing some of the best golfers in the nation,” said Covich. “Mark has continued to get better over the last two seasons and he really developed his game playing against some of the best juniors from the region and around the nation. I look forward to him being a Mountaineer next season.”
Playing for The Kiski School, Goetz won four medalist titles in 2016, including the 2016 Pennsylvania Independent School Athletic Association (PISAA) State Championship.
