MORGANTOWN, W.V.a – The West Virginia University swimming and diving teams will officially open the 2015-16 season by hosting the annual West Virginia State Games at the WVU Natatorium, on Thursday, Oct. 8, at 7:30 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 9, at 11 a.m.
Diving events will start at 6 p.m. on Thursday and 2 p.m. on Friday.
“The West Virginia State Games is a great opportunity for the teams to race,” said coach Vic Riggs. “After almost two months of preparation and getting our training at mid-season level, it's time to see how the teams will respond to competition.
