WVU Volleyball's 2017 European Tour
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University volleyball team recently embarked on the trip of a lifetime, as the Mountaineers enjoyed a 12-day trip to Europe. In a trip made possible by the generosity of the program’s supporters, the team was able to compete and take in new cultures while abroad.
The Mountaineers played six matches throughout Italy, Slovenia and Croatia, returning to the U.S. with a 5-1 record. During that time the team went sightseeing in various cities, experienced new foods and took part in several recreational activities.
“I thought it was a fantastic trip for our players, staff and program,” coach Reed Sunahara said.
