MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – To open the 2016 outdoor track and field season, the West Virginia University track and field team took a victory and posted two top-10 finishes on the first day of competition at the Wake Forest Open on Friday, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
The first day of competition was highlighted by a victory in the 1,500 meter invitational and two top-10 finishes, in the 1,500 meter run and the high jump.
The two-day meet concludes on Saturday, March 19, starting at 9 a.m., at Wake Forest’s Kentner Stadium. Live results can be found at flashresults.
