Late Friday night, Bob Huggins and the West Virginia men’s basketball team captured the Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational crown with an impressive 72-50 win over San Diego State.
The Mountaineer defense was dominant again, forcing 21 turnovers and scoring 30 points off those turnovers. On the other hand, San Diego State scored just seven points off WVU’s 15 turnovers. So, it’s no wonder why the Mountaineers won by nearly 20 points.
