LAWRENCE, Kan. – Jessica Morton scored a season-high 18 points and the West Virginia women took command with a 13-0 second-quarter run for a 65-45 victory at Kansas on Sunday afternoon

Bria Holmes netted 13 points and three assists, Katrina Pardee scored nine points on 4-of-5 shooting and Lanay Montgomery contributed eight points, six rebounds and four blocks for the Mountaineers (12-3, 1-1). Arielle Roberson snagged seven rebounds and six steals in 36 minutes.

The victory snapped a six-game road losing skid for West Virginia,

Lauren Aldridge scored 16 for Kansas (5-8, 0-2).
