MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — West Virginia’s three-match win streak came to an end with a 4-1 loss to Radford on Tuesday night in men’s soccer action at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium.
Previously winless Radford (1-5) cranked up its offense early when Victor Valls found the back of the net within the first 10 minutes.
Kieran Roberts scored a goal in the 17th minute, and Amadou Macky Diop rounded out Radford’s first-half onslaught by scoring in the 36th minute to take a 3-0 lead.
The Highlanders weren’t done. Diop got one more shot past the goalkeeper in the 56th minute to take a 4-0 lead.
