MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - On the heels of an 11-7-1 season in which the West Virginia University men’s soccer team swept the Mid-American Conference postseason awards, the team had arguably its best spring season in recent history.
“We had a really good spring. With us being such a young team last year, it meant that we had a lot to work with this spring,” coach Marlon LeBlanc said. “The competition within the team was great. The guys bought in to the plan we set forth from December through May 1st and made this spring one the most productive that I’ve been involved with in my 14 or 15 years of Division I college coaching.
