Marcus Simms Likely Leaving West Virginia Program

The West Virginia Mountaineers will most likely without one of their fastest players next year as all indications are that Marcus Simms will be transferring from the program. Simms, a junior who caught 81 passes for 1,362 and 7 touchdowns the past two seasons, tweeted Sunday “On to another chapter” with a smiling purple devil and zipped lips.

Simms was the recipient of a vicious helmet-to-helmet hit against Oklahoma Sooners in the regular season finale. Simms caught a short hitch and immediately turned upfield. Unfortunately, the catch would be the last of his career.
