MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The second annual Mountaineer Intercollegiate highlights the 2016-17 West Virginia University golf schedule, which was announced by Director of Athletics Shane Lyons on Wednesday.
The Mountaineers enter their second season of varsity competition after being reinstated in 2013 following a three-decade absence.
“After a very challenging schedule last year, we are following it up with an even better one this year,” said coach Sean Covich. “Every tournament will be exciting for our guys, starting with our trip to Kiawah Island. Opening up at a major championship venue like The Ocean Course at Kiawah will be a great test for our young program.
