Pregame notes

— BJ Myers (5-4, 3.90 ERA), two days after throwing 77 pitches, is slated to start for the Mountaineers.

— Wake Forest deploys its No. 3 starter, Donnie Sellers (3-5, 4.34), who has made 13 starts this season. He has 53 strikeouts and 24 walks in 74 innings, with 11 wild pitches and 12 hit batters.

— We can only hope for an atmosphere approaching Saturday night’s intensity, when Wake overcame a three-run deficit and won 4-3 on a ninth-inning walkoff.
