Keith Tandy played the unforgiving position of defensive back. On quite a few occasions, he seemed to be the whipping boy of a defensive scheme that gave up many deep passes to opposing teams.
He played in a total of 45 games for the Mountaineers in his four-year career in Morgantown, which included six games as a freshman in 2008. Tandy tallied 13 interceptions, including six as a junior. He started all 13 games he appeared in through his sophomore, junior and senior seasons.
In his four years, though, the WVU football team surrendered nearly 800 total points and only posted one shutout.
