Jevon Carter Traded to Suns

Former West Virginia Mountaineer and two-time Defensive Player of the Year Jevon Carter has been traded, along with Kyle Korver, to the Phoenix Suns for De’Anthony Melton Josh Jackson, a 2020 second-round pick and a 2021 conditional second-round pick, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Carter, the 32nd pick of the 2018 NBA Draft, spent time between the G-League Memphis Hustle and the NBA squad Memphis Grizzlies. Carter showed promise in the G-League and made his official debut on December 15, 2018 in a 97-105 loss to the Houston Rockets.
