MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The WVU football recruiting Class of 2021 has secured a verbal commitment from another 4-star player. Jaylen Anderson, a running back from Perry High School in Perry, Ohio announced his intention to become a Mountaineer Thursday evening.
Anderson is a 6-foot-1, 210-pound running back who collected two dozen Division I offers, including the likes of Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Iowa, Iowa State, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan State, Minnesota and Pittsburgh.
Perry went 12-1 in 2019, advancing to the third round of the Ohio Division IV playoffs. Anderson is the first running back in WVU’s Class of 2021 and he was recruited by Chad Scott.
