It's Football Friday: Youngstown State

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Youngstown State will be making its first appearance in Morgantown to play a college football game since 1938 - its first season of gridiron play - when the Penguins and the Mountaineers battle at Milan Puskar Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Youngstown State, now led by former Nebraska coach Bo Pelini, brings a 1-0 record into Saturday’s game following its 45-10, season-opening victory over Duquesne last weekend.

In that game the Penguins got 187 yards and three touchdowns through the air from first-time starting quarterback Ricky Davis, who also added 74 yards on the ground, along with a pair of rushing touchdowns from Tevin McCaster and Martin Ruiz.
