Huggins: Plenty to fix after 70-54 loss in NYC

NEW YORK — For more than a half-hour after 14th-ranked West Virginia’s first loss of the season, Bob Huggins kept his team in the locker room, delivering one of his patented postgame dissertations.

The makings of a 70-54 loss to No. 10 Virginia left much to discuss.

Betrayed by sloppy passing and soft rebounding, the Mountaineers (7-1) missed a chance to make a nonconference splash against one of the ACC’s premier teams.
