CHARLESTON, W.Va. — George Washington picked up the marquee win of the night out of Class AAA in week eight of the high school football season.
The fifth rated Patriots (6-1) beat crosstown rival No. 3 Capital 32-21 as running back NuNu Miller finished with 264 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries – that includes a 91 yard touchdown run in the second quarter that put the Patriots up 26-14 heading into the half.
“Our kids answered the call several times tonight,” said George Washington coach Steve Edwards, Jr. “(NuNu) put forth a great effort today and had a really great night.
