Holgorsen ‘gathering the facts’ on offensive lineman’s arrest for burglary

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — West Virginia senior offensive lineman Russell Haughton-James was arrested Sunday night.

Haughton-James, 22, was arrested on a single count of burglary by West Virginia state police and was taken to North Central Regional Jail awaiting arraignment.

The Plantation, Fla., native has played in 26 career games with the Mountaineers. The 6-foot-5, 300-pounder started the Gold-Blue spring game at left tackle and is expected to be a swing backup behind Yodny Cajuste and Marquis Lucas.

Haughton-James, appeared in 12 games last season as a reserve, primarily used as an extra offensive lineman in short-yardage situations as well as seeing action on special teams.
