MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – After a career-best outing in West Virginia’s 11-6 victory at Kansas on March 26, senior pitcher Jeff Hardy has been named the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by University Apartments.
Hardy came in and got the final 11 outs of the game to earn his first career save. He entered the game in the sixth inning and allowed no runs on just two hits with a career-best six strikeouts and no walks in 3.2 innings.
