A 5-foot-9 hitter at J.H. Rose High in Greenville, North Carolina, Hallow was the 2015 Conference Player of the Year who led the Rampants to the 2014 AAAA State Championship where she was named the tournament MVP. A three-time all-conference honoree, Hallow was selected as an Under Armour All-America Honorable Mention and was nominated for the North Carolina Gatorade Player of the Year.
