Graduate transfer cornerback sounds excited over WVU offer

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — With West Virginia coaches in hot pursuit of three graduate transfers to bolster next season’s defense, one of their top targets sent an enthusiastic message late Friday night.

Cornerback Denzel Fisher, a 6-foot-1 senior who appeared in 23 games over three seasons at UCLA, tweeted that he received an offer from the Mountaineers:

Expected to visit Morgantown between now and next Saturday’s spring game, Fisher could bolster a wide-open cornerback competition.
