MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – After shooting one under par as a team in the first round, the West Virginia University golf team stumbled in the second and finished the day in 12th place overall at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational on Monday.
The Mountaineers shot a 283 (-1) through the first 18 holes, putting them in the top five for team scoring but posted a 293 (+9) in the second to end the day eight over par with a two-round total of 576. Belmont sits the team leaderboard at 13 under par with a score of 55, while Ohio is in second with a score of 560 (-8).
